Overall Job Purpose:

To deliver work package solution drawings and documentation for visual communications sales and operations teams. To produce ancillary equipment schedules based on completed solution designs.

To design CAD schematics, elevation drawings, visualisations, rack diagrams and cabling/consumable designs. This is to implement a consistent standardisation across AV/Video, reduce the time spent on this activity by the pre-sales team to greatly improve utilisation and ultimately aid sales engagements.

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Understand high level audio visual solution designs to produce detailed system schematics.
  • Understand site survey or building plan documentation to produce detailed elevations and general arrangement plans for audio visual equipment
  • Approve or identify errors in high level solution designs
  • Produce confirmed M&E requirements list for client submission
  • Produce consumables orders for audio visual solutions based on final design

Skills Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Working knowledge of CAD
  • Working knowledge of Visio
  • Working knowledge of audio visual technology
  • Working knowledge of network technology
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to travel throughout the UK when required
  • Personable with clients and colleagues
