Obsolescence Manager is required to join a high-performance team that designs and manufactures the most state-of-the-art machinery, pushing the boundaries of technology. This contract opportunity is initially for 6 months with a good view to extend, and is offering up to £500per day.
Due to the urgency of the requirement the successful candidate will need to hold Active SC clearance.
The successful candidate will manage the obsolescence activities to minimise risk and deliver plans and reports on time, to budget and to the highest standards.
Skills, qualifications and experience
- A sound understanding of obsolescence and system design
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Access applications, including confidence in manipulating complex data
- Strong interpersonal, organising and communication skills
- Genuine team player with the ability to influence decisions
- The confidence and discipline to work under your own initiative and within agreed frameworks
- Business-aware and customer oriented with an up-to-date organisational and commercial awareness.
- Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably with an engineering focus
