Senior Test Analyst
I am currently hiring a French or Dutch speaking Test Analyst for a long term opportunity with a client of mine in Brussels. The initial contract offered will be for 6 to 12 months with renewal options based on performance.
Key Responsibilities of the job
The test Analyst will work with one of the major banks in Belgium. The tester, part of Scrum team, you will be responsible to guarantee a high level of quality of applications delivered and validated under projects or programmes.
You will have to review analysis, prepare test data, prepare and execute tests for complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the requirements (incl. their acceptance criteria)
- Analyze/comment the test strategies
- Challenge approaches and solutions together with the colleagues and management (within the Scrum team) to be sure that the right solutions are being put in place
- Review the analysis documents
- Execute test scenarios and document the results (incl. defect management)
- Collaborate closely with the development teams (software design and delivery), colleagues from the test team incl. the test managers, project managers etc. to assure an efficient delivery
- Be an ambassador of the Testing and Test Automation, with a high level of quality as main focus, applying and contributing to improve the test processes
Skills
- Communicative, proactive, and assertive

- You have high level sense of the detail
- Experience with Test Tools (QC,JIRA)
- Open to try new way of working, to solve problems
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders
- Experience in the Insurance domain
Experience
- Experience in testing (4+ years)
- Experience in Banking/Insurance Industry good to have.
- Experience within an Agile environment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Fluent in French/Dutch and English
- Good understanding with testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMap, etc.)
- ISTQB Certification
- European Passport
