Description
My client, a leading bank, is looking for a partial or fully qualified accountant with experience in working as a Project Accountant, Finance Business Partner or Finance Analyst to work on an initial 6 month contract paying £260 based in Bristol.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Experience in working in an accounting role in an investment reporting area.
- Experience of month end accounting and processes.
- Experience with SAP and OFA.
Key accountabilities:
- Assisting Project Managers with the compilation of financials for project forecasting templates.
- Working with Project Managers on month end activity to ensure accuracy with accrual calculations, journal postings and booking benefits.
- Reviewing the ledger at month end to identify and correct MIS-postings.
- Analysis of expenditure at cost management unit (CMU) level.
- Month end variance analysis and commentary for Group Reporting purposes.
- Producing regular MI on the allocation of all Finance investment funding and benefits tracking.
- Consolidation of quarterly forecast and 5 year operating plan (5YOP) submissions.
- Input of 5YOP submissions to the budgeting and forecasting systems.
