Your tasks:
- Develop and implement brand strategies that maximize the growth opportunities for the segment through a unique understanding of consumer dynamics
- Ensure that targets for brand pricing, volume & value sales and profit (margins) are agreed and then met through effective cross-functional team working
- Evaluate all key marketing activities (namely advertising creative, media investment and sponsorship)
- Develop, gain approval for and implement launch plans for global and regional NPD (and local line extension) initiatives
- Local market adaptation and implementation of global creative
- Input marketing insights to contribute to company forecast accuracy
- Brief key internal customers on the brand positioning and key initiatives both informally and formally through the Sales and Commercial Plan Review Meetings
- Manage the personal development and day to day activities of the team in order to maximize their value to and learnings
Your qualifications
- Degree in a Marketing or Business related subject (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills
- Substantial experience within Marketing with exposure to FMCG companies
- Project management experience
- Management of Advertising and Media Buying Agencies
- Management of Below The Line (BTL), design and internet agencies
- Confident in applying market research learnings including advertising tracking and econometric modeling
