Social Media Exec - Manchester - 3 months - Internet Services Provider

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client business, brand, their key audiences and then help to bring their story to life
  • Manage clients and company content communication plans across all channels.
  • Assist with the planning and production of client marketing communication integrated campaigns.
  • Create timely and engaging content optimised for platform and audience.
  • Monitor sites for customer service opportunities and initiate conversations on behalf of the client.
  • Analyse and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities.
  • Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect client and their brand (Customize social media pages (ex. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube), develop supporting offline collateral, create original content, etc).
  • Stay current with social media trends and tools - includes attending networking and educational events, reading blogs, and listening to podcasts.
  • Researching and preparing client proposals, attending meetings to deliver plans and implement campaigns
  • Undertaking media research and maintaining full and accurate media lists, building strong relationships with journalists, pitching articles and sending press releases
  • Outreach, instigating and managing blogger relationships and engaging with social influencers
  • Continue to refine and define our social marketing process
  • Work with teams to create a solid branding message that's reflected across our marketing materials, social media content and shared our team
  • Be happy, smile, and bring a positive attitude to the office

ABOUT YOU

  • Passionate about brand communications, attention to detail and want to seek out the little things that can make a big difference.
  • 2 years social experience across B2B and B2C clients
  • Degree educated in a related subject: PR/Marketing/Journalism/Creative Writing
  • Knowledge of using SEO with online content distribution
  • Experience in digital and traditional PR
  • The ability to work independently with creativity and insight
  • You will have well developed a creative adaptable writing style and have excellent proof reading skills
  • Able to develop relationships with ease and excellent communication skills
  • Be well organised and have good project management skills
  • A keen eye for attention to detail
