SAP FI Consultant - French Speaking - Guyancourt, France. Start: 2nd January Month Contract.
Our End Client in Guyancourt, France is looking to hire and SAP FI (Finance) Consultant to work in their SAP team on a roll-out project which will include managing Fit Gap Analysis on the SAP FI domain and provide day to day support.
The role:
Our clients' IT Department is progressively implementing a set of projects and services to strengthen the technological support on business operability. This position will significantly participate in the creation and support of the SAP Finance & Controlling processes (design & build) and support services.
Position Description:
The SAP Finance Consultant is responsible for the design and build of the SAP finance modules and has to be able to integrate the issues and the requirements coming from AMS services. You must possess a strong sense of customer service to gather requirements and understand the business needs.
The SAP Finance Consultant is responsible for defining the Finance and Statutory Reporting end to end process design solution, to deploy finance modules in all the countries in the project scope, he/she has to know general ledger process, AP, AR and Asset module and finance reporting solution for statutory and management reporting.
Primary Objectives/Responsibilities:
* Manages project scope, schedule and deliverables for Finance Domain
* Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining SAP Finance integration solutions
* Identify critical data management and best practice for Finance Domain
* Ensure existing standards are adopted and adhered to the SAP project and SAP AMS services.
* Promotes and ensures use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools for Finance Domain
Essential Qualities/Skills:
* Has relevant experience in Finance & Controlling processes, Asset Accounting, International Gaap (IFRS, USA, etc.) NewGL end to end process knowledge, deep experience in management reporting (controlling and consolidated)
* Has relevant experience in Finance & Controlling inter-intra- company processes, trading partners management, transfer price management
* Deep knowledge of SAP FI modules, particularly GL, AP, AR and Asset accounting in term of customizing, data model and end to end design solution
* Has experience working in a complex, multi-layered, multi-international organization
* Has an excellent understanding of finance data management practices, principles and techniques.
* Has ability to work in cross-functional, geographically-dispersed teams
* Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills to interface with business customers on a daily basis as well as related to project work.
* Demonstrated ability to work in (virtual) teams to provide support and business solutions.
* Good presentation skills with experience on workshops to facilitate continuous improvement in the implemented design and training.
Other Requirements:
* Some off shift work will be necessary to support project implementation, application changes and/or conversions that are required to be done during hours that do impact normal business operation. Typically these are scheduled at night and/or weekends.
* Travel: up to 25% - varies based on project requirements
Experience needed:
* Mandatory good knowledge of French and English language both written and spoken (most of internal customers are international)
* 10+ years' experience SAP ERP deployment is required
* Deep Knowledge of core SAP Finance Modules (FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-GL, FI-AA, FI-NewGL) and basic knowledge of core SAP Controlling Modules (CO-CCA, CO-OPA, CO-PC, CO-PA, CO-PS)
* Finance Reporting design skills is required.
* Experience in Consolidation Reporting and Solution integrated with SAP (like Hyperion) is required
* Experienced in full project life cycle SAP implementations including blueprinting, design and build, data migration, testing, end user training and post implementation support.
* Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
