Description

Harvey Nash's client in Aberdeen requires a Civil Engineer/Technician experienced in Flood Risk Assessment to join their team as soon as possible. This role will work on flood risk management, undertaking risk assessment, drainage assessments and providing planning advice.

Essential Criteria:

. Degree Educated in appropriating discipline covering water management and hydrology, or HNC/HND in civil engineering
. Ability to negotiate rough terrain and obstacles on site
. Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety
. Able to travel through Aberdeenshire independently - current driving license required
. Experience in design and/or construction of flood defences and knowledge of sustainable flood management techniques
. It would also be beneficial to have experience of flood risk assessments, training in hydrology, and knowledge of Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009, drainage design, river morphology, SUDS and Risk assessments and CDM.

This role will require the ability to vary working hours and work unsocial hours on occasions.
