Description
Technical Skills strongly preferred:
- Experience managing Cisco and/or Arista Routers, Switches and Firewalls in a large production environment
- Experience with Cisco UCS/Cisco NX-OS Experience
- Converged Infrastructure, Private Cloud knowledge
- Hitachi UCP and VCE vBlock experience
- SIP, BGP, protocol experience
- Knowledge ofscripting such as PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python, etc..
- Software Defined Datacenter (SDDC) experience with VMware NSX and vSAN
- Understand virtual Switches (NSX vswitch, etc...) network emulation devices (vmnet3, etc..), physical NIC drivers, network overlay technologies like vxlan
- Cisco Certification preferred
- Hypervisor design experiences in VMware technologies
- Understand datacenter networking fabric topologies and common architecture deployed
- Layer 2 and Layer 3 based
Professional "Soft-Skills" required:
- Prior Management experience manageing at least 5-10 technical employees
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Experience managing in a 7x24 support environment
- Strategic Thinker
- Team Player and Can Lead by Example to his/her peers/Collaboration Skills
- Risk and Audit Experience or Support from a Technical perspective
- ITIL understanding and knowledge (request, change and incident management)
- Experienced in working in large enterprise, financial environment (if possible)
- Performance Reviews and Performance Plans experience
