Financial Controller
Central London
£400 - £500 pay rate
An exciting telecoms business based in central London has an opportunity for a financial controller to join team on a short term contract. The successful candidate will be immediately available. Your role will have responsibility for accounting processes, financial control and reporting.
Financial Controller responsibilities -
- Managing a team of 4 qualified and part qualified accountants
- Liaising and challenging senior stakeholders including investors
- Oversight of managements accounts, statutory reporting, quarterly reporting
- Add value and strategy to the business
- Providing support to decision makers to ensure that change is handled with awareness of financial reporting and control implications.
Financial Controller skills -
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA )
- Strong financial reporting background
- Good interpersonal skills as the role will deal with a number of different stakeholders at senior level
- Advanced excel skills and strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to work within/manage a small team on a short term basis
