Marketing Manager (Digital, Campaigns, Stakeholder Engagement, Online Events) required for initial 6-month contract with public sector client based in Edinburgh
The successful candidate will be involved with the delivery of marketing campaigns, strategy development, drafting bespoke marketing briefs and briefing and liaising with stakeholder groups and delivery partners. The role will include control of a marketing budget.
Essential Experience
- Use insight to identify target audiences/partners, support decision-making and help inform the overall communications approach.
- Advise on and provide analysis of effectiveness indicators for digital communication.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of the communications objectives and how these support the overall policy objective.
- Able to build insight using tools to monitor content and listen to conversations on key channels.
- Research where target audiences are active, including online partnership networks.
- Able to develop outline communications plans, identifying the most effective channels and tools to engage audiences and maximise reach.
- Design and develop content and messages suitable for use across multiple channels.
- Demonstrate awareness of how channels complement each other.
- Explore low/no cost opportunities, including earned, owned and paid channels.
- Actively engage with partners in networks
- Advise on appropriate use of different channels for marketing activity, ensuring an integrated approach is deployed using digital technologies to full potential.
- Able to support the delivery of online events including podcasts, blogs and tweets.
