Title: Mechanical Engineer III
Location: Menlo Park, CA
Duration: 06 months with possible extension
Description:
- We have a need for a resource that will join a dynamic team focused on establishment of a new PLM tool and integration of that tool into an ERP system rolling out in 2017. Accordingly, the ideal candidate is expected to have strong functional experience with Windchill and SAP.
- Further, the ideal candidate would have more than 5 years of experience working in a medical device or similar FDA regulated environment, especially in manufacturing engineering.
- This candidate would:
- Be responsible for interpreting user requirements and make data enrichment decisions based on system requirements;
- Create process work instructions for use of the new PLM and ERP systems;
- May support integration of alternate sites QMS change management process;
- Utilize results from data verification activities and user acceptance testing to executes additional data enrichment activities and updates to the process work instructions;
- Process and approve document and part changes in PLM system;
- Create and establish master data templates for Manufacturer Execution System (MES) requirements for the new ERP system
Additional information:
- This position requires the individual to receive specific assignments and execute independently and within a team environment. The timeframe of 6 months may be extended as additional work opportunities emerge and performance has been deemed acceptable.
Experience:
- More than 5 years of experience working in a medical device manufacturing.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
