World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Global Media Manager to support the company's Global media team. This is an exciting role that stretches across 3 key areas of business: Brand International, Retail & Motorsports and Lubricants & B2B.

Digital transformation and the measurement of paid investment is a crucial part of the team objectives & outputs and therefore they are developing ways to improve global & local planning.

The team are passionate about improving the way they operate in this ever changing and dynamic industry and they needsupport in 3 key areas:

  • Central management linked to tasks which inform and improve media agency contract & evaluations
  • Assistance within Line of business in the form of project management and driving and improving global & local planning process
  • Agency management: ensuring the team extracts the best from the global & local media agency they work with

This is considered a support and project management based role within the global Media team where you will work closely with business leads to manage bespoke work streams with the Media agency and with wider company stakeholders.

You need to be task orientated and strive for operational excellence:

  • Project management of campaigns led centrally & booked by the Global Media Company
  • Understanding respective brand strategies to take on review of selective local market plans
  • Align with Global ambition and guide the Media Agency teams to deliver best output
  • Drive & manage bespoke campaign reporting - leading the brief to Global Media agency
  • Deliver array of: Global In-Situ, PCAs, Competitor & Best practice reports; ready to share
  • Assist with Media Sign off admin, Finance, Invoicing and general reconciliations
  • Keep track and flag concerns regarding Media Budget tracker & activity calendar
  • Drive with Agency evaluation & Auditing process forward

About You:

  • Experience Levels: min 2-5 years media or marketing Comms experience
  • Media knowledge: HIGH
  • Digital knowledge: GOOD
  • Project Management: HIGH
  • Activation & Measurement: GOOD
  • Commercial & Economic Acumen: GOOD
  • Strong media & communication understanding and experience: 2-5 years minimum
  • You must have a proven track record of delivering media campaigns
  • Working cross functionally with various teams within the business
  • Global brand, communications, Motorsport, PR, owned and earned social media and local markets
  • Essential that you are a great influencer who can work well with colleagues.
  • Managing, planning and executing through-the-line media campaigns as part or Marketing Communications
  • Strong digital media and marketing with an understanding of digital measurement and planning
  • Proven project management and implementing new processes to increase efficiency & effectiveness
  • Good understanding on how agencies operate and how to manage & influence their workings

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
