Description
A London Borough Council are looking for an experienced Website Manager that can demonstrate well developed writing skills and the ability to draft accurate copy to tight deadlines. They are looking for individuals that have clearly involved and engaged key stakeholders in planning. This contract role will be a six month position with scope to extend.
Technical requirements/skills:
- Professional writing and sub editing experience
- Management of Website Content
- Demonstrates a good understanding of social care
- Knowledge of web publishing or content management software
- Good design and artistic skills
- An understanding of ethnographic research
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Create high quality content that answers the questions residents have that relate to social care in its broadest sense.
- To develop and manage a content plan in consultation with managers across the Business group
- Maintain the information architecture for the People First website
- Work with the council Web Content Manager to introduce new ways of capturing user feedback on services
The position will be based in West London and they are looking to pay £250 p.d for a six month contract.
