Finance Business Analyst IFRS 15 project (Berkshire - 475p/d)
The Role
Finance Business Analyst to join IFRS 15 project team to assist in the Groups transition to IFRS 15.
This role is required to:
. complete the policy white papers in conjunction with the project team and external professional advisors
. meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts to prepare system and process designs
. Stakeholder frequent communication on upcoming changes to business process, policy and commercial arrangements. Ensure all impacted stakeholders are aware of current project status and transformation necessary to reach compliance.
. Analysis of impact of accounting changes on the business
. Create training material
. Key interface for Finance. Support the Technical Finance Manager by performing technical research, analysis and drafting technical papers where appropriate
Location/Timing
Role will be based in Berkshire and the project team is managed locally, with key members in Dublin and Portland (Oregon). There may be travel required to Dublin and evening work to call west coast USA.
Timing 3 months. Possible extension depending on project requirements.
Experience
. Good knowledge of Revenue recognition, financial accounting and ideally IFRS 15.
. Experience within a software technology company
. Experience in a large company an advantage
. IFRS to/from US GAAP conversion
. Finance transformation
. Requirements gathering and process design.
Qualifications
. Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 year's related accounting experience
. Finance Business Analyst experience
. Advanced excel or SQL query an advantage along with Oracle, SUN and TM1 experience.
