SAP BW Senior Consultant IS-RETAIL - 12 months + contract - Excellent daily rates offered + expenses
SAP BW Senior Consultant IS-RETAIL will be responsible for developing and deploying a SAP global template - EMEA regions. 12 months + contract
Key deliverables;
- Proactively proposing solutions to improve the support of Retail reporting
- Support the business team with issues resolution and provide a solutions based approach
- Design and development of retail BI reporting using SAP BW and SAP CAR, both on HANA
- Build of SAP BW data streams for retail reporting from data source to query level
- Creation of reports in BusinessObjects using Analysis for Office, Lumira and Design Studio
- Proactively help to ensure the progress of the BI workstream to meet the agreed milestones
- Ensuring the timely delivery of workstream deliverables in the needed detail level, to be signed off within the agreed timeframe
Experience required
- Experience in both requirements gathering, blue printing as well as building SAP data warehouses
- SAP BW technical experience should include;
- Datamodelling
- ETL and data provisioning (both from SAP ERP and other sources)
- Experience with SAP CAR
- Query building
- Report creation (BusinessObjects Analysis for Office, Lumira and Design Studio)
- Experience with BW on HANA
- Experience working with HANA Studio
- Experience of working with offshore teams
- Should have worked in at least three SAP Implementation Projects
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
- Good consulting and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage conflict and bring resolution in line with project objectives
- Pro-active feedback to project management of risks, future plans and resource requirements
