Social Content Designer/Digital Designer (Canary Wharf, London)

Excellent opportunity for Social Content Designer/Digital Designer to join multinational financial services company whom are looking for a creative content designer to play a key role in implementing and embedding a refreshed company brand, this is a brand new project starting in 2017.

Skills required for the Social Content Designer/Digital Designer:

  • A creative marketer with a good eye for colour and imagery, enthusiastic, self-motivated and with strong attention to detail.
  • Accomplished designer fully versed in both the PC and Mac operating systems.
  • A full understanding and experience in the Adobe Creative Suite CC.
  • In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premier, After Effects, Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience of CMS systems - Adobe CMS preferred.
  • Copywriting and editing experience is essential.
  • The candidate will have awareness of basic repro & print processes, knowledge of image formats, colour modes, spot colours, cutter guides and their appropriate usage.
  • A design-related qualification.
  • Any previous financial Services experience would benefit (but not essential).

The Social Content Designer/Digital Designer will:

  • Design and production of marketing and sales materials from concept to print ready art-work.
  • Copy editing skills are essential. The candidate will be required to support the wider marketing team through content creation, copywriting and editing.
  • Conceptualisation and creation of adverts, sales aids, product brochures, technical documents, and events branding.
  • Creation of digital assets, online banners and video content.
  • Responsible for making content updates to the website.
  • The candidate may also be asked to assist with stock control, image licensing approvals and assisting with events and other group tasks where required.

The Social Content Designer/Digital Designer must be proactive and results oriented and able to partner with various stakeholders in order to achieve objectives. You must be quick to understand a brief and able to add creative flair and come up with new ideas, although equally important is being comfortable with managing multiple projects and being deadline-aware, so good time management & punctuality are crucial. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to network and build strong relationships internally and externally.
