Description
I am currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer to work for a leading entertainment provider in London on an initial 3 month contract.
Overview:
- Provide concept, design and product application, working with internal and external clients and other artists/designers to accurately complete assigned briefs.
- Design Kits
- Fast Fashion graphic support
- Product concepts and inspiration
- Direct to retail product development support
- Sales support material
- Bespoke retailer & licensee graphic development
- Brand assurance product development support
- Assist the Brand Assurance team through consultation on matters of design and product development.
- Maintain an advanced understanding of ADOBE Suite software packages including latest developments, features and upgrades
- Understand Properties and creative guidelines to ensure maximum creativity within Brand Assurance guidelines.
- Remain informed of current design trends, new art techniques, character development and other creative industry matters.
- Provide art and design support to other departments/offices, licensees and Retailers.
- Brief freelance artists when requested, ensuring that brief is accurately prepared and in written form at all times. Keep written files of all correspondence relating to briefs, including notes of verbal changes etc
- Maintain creative project art files and archive as instructed.
- Configure artwork for production.
- Any other jobs or projects that may be assigned.
Person specification:
- Graduate with at least 8 years' experience in a Fashion Product development role within the Licensing industry or retail environment
- Advanced understanding of:
- ADBOE SUITE products
- Multi media software-not essential but would be an added bonus.
- Proven portfolio of past work
- Self-discipline with an ability to work to deadlines.
- Experience with creating graphic design for licensed merchandise preferred.
