Manufacturing Engineer - Pharmaceutical and Laboratory - up to £38K - Cambridge
I am currently working with a specialist design and manufacturing company based near Cambridge, who are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent contract.
My client manufacture specialist pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment, which includes complex systems and require the Manufacturing engineer to work close with the design team, providing input during product development ensuring the product meets both quality and cost targets.
You will also develop different manufacturing techniques/methods, from supply chain to packing as well as providing insight and guidance on any issues that arise.
Experience
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing engineering and processes
- Experience of designing jigs and fixtures
- Either educated to degree level within a relevant field or have proven experience within a similar field
- Experience of writing and developing manufacturing documentation
- Sound knowledge of both Design of manufacture and NPI process
- Ideally have an understanding of lean manufacturing
