Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Usability test analyst.
The consultants function and responsibilities of the Usability specialist and Tester are as follows:
This is not website testing it is a specific IT product testing and Product usability fit to purpose etc .The client is looking for a Usability specialist to test a new product which is a web based tool/information type planning tool.
The product is a web-based planning tool as such which is being developed and enhanced by our clients. The tool is an information like Portal for Planning/Space Planning.
Usability testing tool used is Morae.
The consultant should have deep user experience with Usability testing UX and Usability knowledge be able to work as a Business Analyst/Tester working with Moderators and user experience experts
Product testing -
User Experience & product usability testing skills.
We are looking for an experienced UX test analyst/UX researcher who is passionate about user research and usability testing to join the team.
The role is contract 40 hours per week with the possibility of occasionally working from home 1 day per week (not guaranteed)- subject to the demands of clients work of course.
You will be responsible for working directly with our client, helping to scope project and suggest appropriate methodologies and solutions and then to deliver excellent work.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Knowledge of usability research methods and qualitative data analysis techniques
Working with the UX team is that you get to validate new ideas through analysing evidence and data and carrying out primary research.
You will:
- Create detailed and annotated, high-fidelity prototypes, site maps, user flows and UI design briefs.
- Constantly review the overall user experience to ensure the customers' needs are met.
- Recommend various small iterative changes to optimise the customer experience alongside large-scale change initiatives.
- Ensure all usability and accessibility improvements are measured and evaluated to demonstrate business and customer benefits
- Possess excellent experience in UX -, usability testing and user centred design process (Portfolio will need to demonstrate these).
- Proven track record of change and enhancement of online User Experience delivering significant benefits.
- Excellent communication as you will be expected to present and demonstrate in front of all stakeholder levels.
- User Experience knowledge gained within a retail environment.

Location is Sweden.
Contract period is 6-12 months
