Communications Manager - Media, News, Content - 3 months - Edinburgh
Exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager to work with a government client based in Edinburgh for an initial 3-month contract with potential 3-month extension.
You will be responsible for producing content for online channels, drafting communications strategies and news releases, organising conferences, building media relations and providing communications advice to government officials and ministers.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience of developing and implementing engaging communication strategies
- Experience of developing and posting online content for target audiences
- Previously worked closely with the media, handling queries and relations
- Understanding of digital broadcasting
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with a public sector or government organisation.
