Description
Harvey Nash's client in Edinburgh City Centre urgently requires a Communications Manager to join their team as soon as possible. This will be a contract position, initially for 4 months with possible extensions.
You will be joining an existing Communications team, working specifically on media relations, and providing communications advice to high level internal stakeholders.
The role will also work on drafting communications products, producing content for digital channels, organising news conferences and dealing with media queries.
Essential Skills:
. Experience working within a communications role
. Skills in using research to identity target audiences
. Experience following communications objects
. Previous experience writing communications strategies
. Content development skills
. Understanding of how print, digital and broadcast media work together
. Experience in evaluating communications, monitoring media and analysing the effectiveness of digital communication
. Relevant qualification ie Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma
. A driving licence would also be desirable
This role will be working usual full time hours, with some participation in out-of-hours duty rota system including weekends/evenings/public holidays.
