Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - CONTRACT
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Surrey
Rate: £350.00/£400.00 per day
Start Date: ASAP
I am working with a key client of mine based in Surrey and they are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with the following experience and skills:
* Experience in the water industry designing large scale industrial waste water plants/fresh water plants.
* Design, build, operate and maintain water treatment infrastructures.
* Experience working on large scale civil projects that involve the use of mechanical equipment including pumps, hydraulics and other mechanical equipment.
* You will be involved in a number of international water treatment plant projects working with project teams including the engineering manager, project managers, design engineers and design draughtsmen.
* You will be working with a project team from initial bidding process through to completion of water treatment plants including the design of civil plants.
* Working with suppliers to ensure the correct mechanical equipment is sourced including pumps, hydraulics and relevant mechanical equipment.
* Checking draughtsmen drawings, Bill of Materials and Consolidated Bill of Materials (BOM's).
