User Researcher/UX Designer

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a User Researcher/UX Designer.

Duties:

The project is to create a new digital service within the care market aimed at use by councils. The new service has a large variety of user types and so you will own a stream of discovery research for to help discovery user need which will help shape the future platform. A working beta stage version of the service already exists and so, a large proportion of the discovery phase research is to evaluate the platform as it stands against user needs.

Key Skills:

- Extensive user research experience such as interviews, usability testing and heuristic reviews
- Extensive interaction design experience around online portals or complex systems
- Confident working independently and as part of a large research team to bring findings together
- Confident presenting user needs to the team and wider stakeholders
- Confident facilitating workshops with the team and stakeholders to agree prioritisation and next steps
- Experience of completing discovery phase work for a service
- Knowledge of content strategy/labelling a bonus
- Knowledge of the care market or GDS a bonus
