Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Content Design Manager to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in London, initially until December 2017 offering up to £400 per day umbrella company.
Main Duties:
Design and shape content for our client facing information portal
Ensure content is user-focused and consistently meets publishing standards.
Review, edit and publish content to strict deadlines using content management systems.
Work with colleagues to co-ordinate digital content production.
Provide specialist advice to staff across the department on using digital communication channels effectively.
Develop excellent working relationships across the department.
Essential Experience:
Writing for the web, with proven ability to create content that is accessible and usable.
Producing content based on user needs.
Managing relationships with stakeholders.
Working with content publishing systems.
Using a style guide to produce consistent content.
Using your negotiating and influencing skills to get results.
Working flexibly with team members to deliver shared goals to tight deadlines.
You will be expected to demonstrate substantial editorial experience and excellent writing skills.
