Senior Scientist - Analytics Expert Biopharmaceuticals (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Perform physico-chemical characterization of therapeutic proteins using different HPLC (e.g. SEC, IEX, RP), electrophoretic (e.g. CE-SDS, CZE), mass spectrometry (e.g. ESI-Q-TOF, Orbitrap), and biophysical techniques (e.g. DLS, rheometry, DSC)
- Develop new screening and analytical characterization methods
- Provide appropriate analytical study design for new molecule formats considering existing internal know-how as well as information from literature
- Compile analytical data from the different analytical methods, interpret results, write technical reports, and present conclusions in expert team meetings
- Ensure maintenance of specialized technical equipment and organization of the general lab infrastructure
- Effectively manage analytics characterization timelines to support several projects in parallel, and work closely with other teams in an international setting
Your qualifications
- BS/MS, PhD degree or equivalent in biochemistry, analytical chemistry or related field
- Profound experience in and expert knowledge of analytical methods for characterization of proteins
- Previous experience in protein chemistry
- Very good knowledge in English, German of advantage
