Media Relations Officer - Inside IR35, 10month contract
An opportunity for a Media Relations Officer to join with a key public sector based in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for promoting a wide range of work for the client including print, broadcast, specialist and online media to provide up to date information as well as public engagement activities undertaken. This role will liaise with MSP's and other senior staff.
Essential Skills:
- Experience of devising and implementing media/public relations/communications strategies.
- Proven track record of dealing with the media.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of different people, at different levels and different demands and requirements.
- Good level of political and/or Public sector knowledge.
- Must be able to remain confidentiality and impartiality.
- Experience in delivering strategic goals daily.
