Senior Experience Designer
The Senior Experience Designer will be accountable for receiving the small - medium scale projects briefs, playing back understanding, fleshing out what is required (acting as a SME) and will have the responsibility for the execution/dependencies and resource required to deliver the pieces of work.
Key Accountabilities
- Take day-to-day responsibility for medium sized Experience Design activities including hands on creation of deliverables across Research, Information Architecture, User Experience and Interaction Design;
- Ability to bring ideas to life through sketching and rapid prototyping using industry standard tools
- Gathering and evaluating customer needs, behaviours, motivations and preferences - for instance by conducting usability tests, research, expert reviews and surveys, and by reviewing analytics
- Analyse research and help to distil results into clear and compelling materials such as task models, user flows, journeys and experience maps
- Attend, and where appropriate, run workshops and interviews with clients and other internal stakeholders
- Document experiences by creating and presenting personas, information architecture, sketches, wireframes, blueprints, prototypes, reports and other deliverables
Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge:
- Broad experience of industry standard experience design/UX, methodology and tools
- Proven experience of successful management and delivery of experience design elements of small to medium projects
- 3 - 4 years' experience within a fast-paced commercial digital environment within an experience design practice.
- This should include user research, requirements gathering, collaborative workshops and other Experience Design techniques
- Excellent career record - some of which in the consumer retail/banking space, supported by a strong portfolio of Experience Design work
