Description
Our client in Glasgow require a Communication Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month contract starting ASAP.
You will be supporting media promotion, engaging through traditional media as well and digital platforms. This will include developing news stories, media released and features.
You will also work on social media content, supporting the Communications Manager and responding to media enquiries as required.
Essential Skills:
* Experience in both formal and informal writing
* Excellent understanding of communication techniques using social media
* Knowledge of changing traditional media and digital media landscape and implications for effective engagement
* Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience
* Experience using Word press
* Experience of working within a similar public sector role
* Experience using Photoshop would be advantageous
