Editor/Animator - We are seeking an Editor/Animator
You will work as a part of the Editing and Animation team based on the digital floor of this banking client.
Your responsibilities as an Editor/Animator include:
This is a very busy team that requires an experienced editor/animator who can work at pace and is used to a fast paced and deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in digital design and strong technical and creative skills
Skills and background for the successful Editor/Animator that we are looking for:
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (eg Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
- Strong Adobe After Effects skills, ideally with demonstrable experience in motion graphics
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Strong editing experience in Premiere Pro CC
- Trained in design with an understanding of typography, color, composition, movement and layout, pacing, and storytelling
- Must have a good understanding of video and DVD formats, compression techniques, and format requirements/constraints
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
- Creative mind and storytelling skills
- Must have an understanding of brands and of producing work of a suitable style
- Must be able to work independently as well as closely with the creative team
- Must be highly organized and pay great attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in being part of a small team supporting several sides of the business.
- Comfortable being proactive in proposing improvements in design, function and features as well as sharing knowledge, research and experience.
