Mechanical Engineer/Designer - Buildings
3-6 months assignment.
Based in Aldershot, Hampshire.
To carry out Mechanical design for a range of buildings including production of design calculations, specifying equipment for general building services, generating drawings and specifications.
Candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of Mechanical Building Services and be able to operate both at a senior level, controlling and reviewing the work of other Engineers and "hands on" producing designs, outputting Specifications and Drawings. Knowledge of current Building Regulations and CIBSE design standards is essential. Knowledge of Hevacomp design software is required. The project building types are typically accommodation, large restaurant facilities, officer's messes, medical centres, sports centres for the MoD. Knowledge of DHM design would be a bonus.
The project is on a large scale and fast track.
