Description
My client are looking for an experienced SharePoint Business Analyst.
The SharePoint Business Analyst tasks/activities will include:
- Process and procedures analysis and business process mapping
- Business requirements analysis
- Preparation of detailed functional requirements
- Preparation of IT requirements specifications and technical design
- Preparation of mockups
- Participation in system testing (before user acceptance tests).
You will require knowledge in:
SharePoint functionalities:
- collaboration sites (documents, forums, wiki)
- lists and libraries (metadata, versioning)
- webparts (building pages and customisation)
- workflows
Business process Mapping and experience using BPM Tools, also Document Management systems where main areas will be.
- Document life cycle
- Drafting and archival
- Versioning
- Security
- Search
You must demonstrate competence in:
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong planning skills
- Strong sense of commitment and problem solving attitude
- Having good English language skills as project Language will be in English.
Project Scope:
The new platform will facilitate mobility, use of portable devices and will be integrated with a secure environment. In that context, the aim to ensure a seamless user experience between content provided by several different Back End systems.
The new solution will optimize the use of current technologies (OpenText, SharePoint, MS Ex-change), document taxonomy and security policy in place for both internal-internal and internal-external exchange and collaboration.
