Content Designer - 6 months - Edinburgh
I am looking for a Content Designer for an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh. You will responsible for the creation and delivery of the content strategy across all the organisations channels, ensuring the Digital First agenda is adhered to and content is designed for the User.
You will be responsible for ensuring the organisations content allows both new and existing customers to engage in a better way that before, creating end to end campaigns with an understanding of why content is so important.
You will be responsible for the production of content, from scoping, commissioning, writing and editing, ensuring it is simple to read and easy to understand for the user. You'll be ensuring all content is fact checked and will make recommendations to enhance the current content. You will be involved in needs analysis and a consistent audit of the content that is released across a variety of channels.
You must have experience of writing for web and other social media channels as well as creating and sourcing inspiring content. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level within related field of digital, communications or marketing or equivalent commercial experience. Experience of HTML/CSS and JavaScript would be highly advantageous.

* Experience of writing inspiring content for web and social media channels
* Experience of ensuring quality of content via fact checking and other methods
* Experience of carrying out needs analysis
* Experience developing content strategies and understanding the value of good content
* Educated to a degree level within related field of digital, communications or marketing or equivalent commercial experience
