Mobile Solution Architect - Contract - Dublin, Ireland
My client a top Pharmaceuticals company is currently looking to recruit a Mobile Solution Architect to join its team in Dublin, Ireland on a contract basis.
The Mobile Solution Architect will be responsible for the following:
- The Mobile Solution Architects' major accountability is to effectively transform the technical solution requirements into IT understandable design specifications, ultimately leading to meeting the customer expectations on the solution
- Understand the business requirements to create technical solutions that fit the purpose
- Ensure the consistent design of appropriate solutions and coordination of all design activities across projects and changes
- Ensure solutions to meet the business needs and associated architecture and build are managed in accordance with technology standards
- Interface to UX/UI Designers, Developers and Business Analysts
- Leads the co-creation workshops with business stakeholders
- Plays a key function in understanding the business direction, alignment of strategy to scope of project, and drive measurable expected results aligned with business processes and solution standards
- Provide guidance around non-functional requirements for the solutions
- Actively develops or supports the creation of technical design documents (FS/DS)
- Reviews Test Cases, Test Plans and Test results
- Participates in App reviews and provides subject matter expertise
- Overall governance of the tooling & discipline around tools usage in the factory, in alignment with Head Process & Tools
- Defining roadmap for the technology in strong alignment with EA, managing technology relationships various stakeholders across geographies
- Ownership of technical architecture
- Develop solution architecture guidelines for the factory/strategic vendors to meet the business requirements
Key skills and experience for the Mobile Solution Architect:
- Proven track record in managing large scale projects across thousands of users.
- Demonstrated leadership skills of leading diverse management teams with proven management experience in a Matrix organization
- Knowledge and experience in the medical, clinical, pharmaceutical, FMCG or Manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
- Stakeholder management and engagement experience
- Hybrid and Native development
- Mobile App Solutions experience
- Mobile development
- Governance, tools and quality experience
- App cost estimation experience
- Vendor selection
- Proof of concept expertise
- Technical Architecture within mobile application development
- Open Source platform experience
- Experience in handling deliverables in an outsourced environment
- Experience in handling vendors
- Experience with onsite/offshore delivery models
- Ability to operate in Matrix organization
