Description

Access Computer Consulting plc are managing a leading edge program for a major Tier 1 Investment Bank which will be revolutionizing the business by delivering technology automation, leveraging artificial intelligence & machine learning capabilities available through cloud services

User Experience Designer (UX), with BA experience

With an emphasis on liaising with stakeholders this new hire must have experience in producing hi-fidelity user stories, personas, wire-framing plus have previous interaction with product managers, Front End developers, and visual designers.

  • Conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, brainstorming sessions, observations, and surveys/questionnaires for key business requirements
  • Ability to research projects to better understand user motivations, behaviors and needs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of different research methodologies and data analysis techniques as well as best practices
  • Assist in the gathering and analysis of data (quantitative metrics, usability sessions, customer feedback)
  • Collaborate with team members (product managers, Front End developers, and visual designers) through the entire design and development process
  • Creation of robust design documentation to communicate the product's interaction, navigation, and organization
  • Defining and finding the balance among the feasibility, viability, & desirability/technical constraints
  • Helping clients prioritize goals within the scope of the project
  • Creating research tools, such as surveys, questionnaires, and test scripts necessary to conduct studies
  • Participating in all phases of usability test process-planning, administration, analysis and documentation: focus groups, remote testing, cognitive walkthroughs and one-on-one usability client interviews and scribing user feedback
  • Compiling, documenting, and synthesizing findings research and identifying patterns and trends
  • Translating user findings into actionable solutions through iterative methods and deliverables: brainstorm sessions, flowcharts, personas, storyboards, user flows, task analyses, content audits, sitemaps, use cases, scenarios, wireframes, and prototypes (hi & low fidelity)

The ideal candidate needs to be driven and self-motivated, and be able and willing to extend themselves outside of the norm in order to get the job done. As this is for a financial group on-boarding is wide reaching and extensive, no one without an impeccable credit record and traceable career history and verifiable technical qualifications will be considered.
