Opportunity for Web Publishers!

Our client, a Federal Government Department is seeking the services of a Web Publisher with minimum 2 years' experience in SharePoint publishing to work in the Digital Communication Hub.

Contract Period : to (with 2 x 12 month possible extension options)

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint 2010 (creating and editing pages, managing site settings, lists and libraries) and well-developed HTML skills.
  • Ability to quality control published content to Whole of Government and Departmental standards.
  • Understanding of the principles of web accessibility and understanding of current Australian Government accessibility requirements.
  • Good web-writing skills and experience writing to a corporate style guide.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, be highly responsive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and find creative solutions for a wide range of online services.
  • As this is a strongly client-focussed role, highly-developed oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Basic understanding of CSS and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Search engine optimisation requirements.
  • Previous Graphic Design experience, in particular, good design and layout skills.

The client requires the applicants to hold NV1 or NV2 Security clearance for this role.
