URGENT - Communications Planner - London - 6 Month Temp

Role:
Programmatic Comms Planner

Location:
London, UK

Duration:
6 months

Description:
The DoubleClick Comms Planning role is a specialist position working across the sector's largest programmatic advertisers creating and delivering bespoke media & tech pitches. At the core of this role is programmatic comms planning - the ability to use DoubleClick data, tech, and tools to uncover insights that allow you to plan media strategies agnostically across O&O and 3rd party. The DoubleClick Comms Planner will sit at the centre of planning and strategy - they will be responsible for coordinating and leading cross-functional groups to deliver cutting edge brief responses unlike anything delivered before. While the focus of the Comms Planner will be media, you will be expected to work closely with other members of the DoubleClick specialists team to ensure tech is incorporated into the solution sales approach. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in producing pitches in either a media agency or media owner environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong use of insight to create a strategy that translates into a deliverable media plan. The candidate will have experience interrogating briefs to understand exactly what is required to win proposals and will feel comfortable owning responses - working across categories and under tight timelines. Finally, the candidate will also be a natural storyteller; possessing the ability to create succinct, creative, compelling pitches that leverage the best of DoubleClick's programmatic solutions.

Responsibilities:
Respond to media briefs; craft stories with in-depth audience data and proof points that create substantive, impactful, and compelling pitches either delivered in person or via workshops. Work closely with the internal teams to understand client & agency planning frameworks ensuring each pitch is grounded in the language and thinking of individual agencies and/or clients. Work closely with internal client teams (LCS & DoubleClick) to understand the customer's business objectives, advertising strategy, corporate guidelines and brand tone of voice. Lead discovery of audience, category, and brand insights to drive strategic comms planning. Work with internal analysts to highlight additional data sets to develop consumer and category insights around a brand's target audience and/or proposition.
