Our client are a large local government organisation and are looking for an experienced Web Officer to join their team. This is initially a 2 month contract which maybe extended for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and help implement its web and customer access strategy.
The successful candidate will work with the Web Manager in identifying and developing editorial and image content as well as create, write edit and publish content for the website using the CMS, adhering to agreed standards. You will also act as a source of support, training and advice for the departmental web authors when required.
The successful applicant will be an experienced Web Officer preferably with experience of working within a public sector organisation. You will also have in depth experience of developing web pages and producing content using a CMS in a previous role. The client is looking for candidates who can assist in migrating content from their existing Drupal CMS to a new Umbraco CMS.
