Description
Smartedge is looking for Safety Engineer for a Contract role. Ideal candidate should have experience with Oil & Gas Industry.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering field
- Registered Functional Safety Engineer with design experience
- Ability to define and document systems solutions, covering hydro-mechanical, electronic, electrical and software aspects, within specified performance and environmental constraints.
- Ability to configure and adapt existing solutions wherever possible
- Experience in designing SIL systems and/or products in the controls industry, including latest industry practices and standards
- Must have an aptitude for learning new technology, techniques, methods and principles
- Be prepared to meet and work with clients when required and able to clearly explain design approaches
- Encourage HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) standards within the team and continuously strive to improve HSE procedures and culture.
