Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented VOD Content Scheduler to join our client, a leading UK broadcasting and telecoms company.
This will be an initial 2-3 month contract, based in Central London.

Scope of role
This role is part of a team responsible for the scheduling of our client's TV SVOD entertainment content (a mixture of Sky Cinema, TV Catch-Up, Kids and Music). The role involves ensuring that all media content is selected, acquired, processed, scheduled and delivered to the TV platforms to agreed technical standards and contractual timescales to maximise customer usage of the TV SVOD content offering.

Required experience
In depth knowledge of TV and film content
Experience of using Bebanjo/Movida TV content scheduling system
Experience of scheduling on demand content for a Pay or OTT service
Highly accurate with great attention to detail
Able to cope with quick turnarounds and scheduling high content volumes

Responsibilities
Input and maintain accurate programme inventory in scheduling system
Liaise with internal and external creative partners to ensure timely and correct delivery of all required metadata (images, synopses, rating and other associated metadata) and applying metadata to titles
Prioritise effectively to ensure all programming is acquired, processed and published on the service in accordance with licence agreements
Work with Operations department to ensure all required workflows are in place to allow for new Content Providers or the updating of existing Content Provider requirements.
Order content with Content Providers and/or Delivery Partners, ensuring that all materials are delivered on time and meet the clients TV specifications
Co-ordinate with operational teams to prioritise processing of content to meet license agreements or promotional requirements
Take ownership and resolution of any scheduling or content issues, coordinating and escalating where necessary
Input and maintain systems with accurate information for ordering and tracking progress of content for receiving, ingest, transcoding and archiving as well as royalty reporting
