SAP BI Technical Writer
Location: Brussels
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 Months
Rate: in Euros/day all in
As part of a large transformation project, the role of the technical writer will consist of:
* Compile and catalog all current documentation
* You will be working on writing and/or edits on technical documents such as technical flows, Functional Analysis, operational specifications, report documentation.
* Prepare a priority action plan to cover the entire documentation scope
* Work with the BI Architects, Application Owners and Developers to identify immediate documentation needs
* Translate and modify existing documentation (French and/or Dutch) in English
* Collaborate with Technical team to build and maintain the content management platform
Skills Required:
* Fluent French/Dutch/English language skills
* Knowledge of technical language, concepts, practices, and procedures in BI
* Experience with SAP BW/BI is a plus
* Experience with SAS is a plus
* Experience with MS Power BI is a plus
* Superior knowledge of MS Word particularly relating to formatting of documents
* Knowledge of MS Excel, Enterprise Architect
* Sharp proofreading skills and acute attention to detail
* Familiarity with Knowledge base and documentation/content platforms or such as Sharepoint
* Can work in an Agile Methodology
* Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised
* Experience with a large IT transformation project is a plus
Minimum Qualifications :
* Minimum of 2 years in Technical writing
* Minimum of 3 years in Business Intelligence
