Tasks

On request of users, assist with the creation of new project pages and specific features (eg surveys, macro's, lay-out) and integrate webinar recordings. Migrate and consolidate content from different platforms and sources currently used. The Web Master will also encourage actual use of the platform and develop on-line interactivity in the market surveillance community. The Web Master will ensure a regular review of user activity of the platform

- The daily user management involves the allocation of access to the site to new users, discontinuation of user access, management of permissions and attributions to groups and sub-groups within the knowledge website. In principle the Web Master responds within a day to requests for access or discontinuation (on weekdays, except holiday periods) or requests for help that arrive in the functional mailbox (help-desk). Development of a standard operating procedure (SOP) for user management. For the site a regularly review of the list of users, allocation to groups and permissions will need to be carried out.

- The Web Master will ensure coherence in the use of labels (key-words, tags) across the wiki pages, so that the users can benefit in an optimal way from the search and index functionalities. Screening of the platform pages for any broken links and repair the links (external Internet links and internal links between the wiki pages and content).

- Gathering information, writing and editing content for the platform, based on rough, source material provided by authorities and Commissions (eg writing and news editing, wiki-page on key market surveillance topics, summaries of enforcement cases from Member States (public authorities, consumer/business associations), press articles' digest from all Member States and relevant international partners, etc.
