Main tasks:
- You will work on a strategic program for the main customer, in order to design a new service-oriented architecture to replace the current flight data management system
- You take advantage of your skills and knowledge in Service Oriented Architectures to derive patterns which fit the business requirements
- You leverage the investment made by the company on Integration platform to rationalize the exchange between applications and services
- You collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that the IT strategic investment aligns with the business strategy and drives operating results
- You have a profound software development background (deep experience and proficiency writing code) to collaborate with developers on solution
- You work both independently for detailed design and collaboratively with an Architecture Committee for the overall system architecture
Main qualifications
- You have solid experience in successfully leading and implementing IT design in a service oriented architecture
- You have a broad understanding and technical knowledge of IT solutions and technologies across all areas of IT
- You have experience with high performance, transaction-based complex systems
- You have extensive experience in organizations with a mixed technology portfolio of core/legacy
- Prior experience in a Solution Architect role with a strong object-oriented background
