Description

Copywriter

Canary Wharf

6 Month Initial Contract

Rates of up to £300 per day

My client is looking for 2 Copywriters to join their team in Canary Wharf. The successful candidates will have strong Copywriter and Editor experience within finance or similar regulated industries.

The Role:

We're looking for a confident and proactive copywriter to work on a review and rewrite project covering essential operational comms for Wealth clients. You'll be working through various types of communication, liaising with different internals SMEs and overseeing timely delivery against a project plan.

There's a copywriting team to help you get up to speed with the brand guidelines and you'll need to quickly learn how to make confident writing decisions for the brand.

Essentials:

  • Strong experience as a copywriter and editor - ideally across regulated industries
  • Experience working on operational and/or functional comms
  • Experience working for HNW/UHNW audiences
  • Results focused and strategic, with an appreciation of how data and insight should influence copy
  • Building relationships with people at all levels, and an ability to influence ideas and people with confident, reasoned arguments that put the customer first
  • Open-minded and collaborative - ability to adapt to different ways of working
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, and work with the wider team to hit deadlines
  • What we'll need from you:

  • Make the complicated simple: use on-brand language and insight to create seamless journeys
  • Consolidate disparate and varied content into coherent, on-brand, customer-focused comms
  • Sub-edit content written by all colleagues. Apply our tone of voice, house style, content strategy, customer experience principles and best practice. Provide reasoned, open feedback when needed - and accept the same back
  • Know and understand the KPIs and metrics for the department and our content strategy principles, and use them when you're creating content
  • Develop the ability to use financial regulations to improve the customer experience rather than hinder it. Be familiar with financial compliance regulations, Advertising Standards Authority, data privacy rules and anti-fraud practices
  • To apply please send your CV's in the first instance.
