Investment Writer//Content Creation//Editorial

£300/day

Central London

Investment Writer required for a leading Wealth Management corporation in central London.

The Investment Writer will be tasked with creating, managing and delivering content for the company's customers, working in the Investment Communications team, reporting directly into the Head of Investment Communications.

Contract is likely to last more than 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement thought leadership-marketing content and tools to distinctively position investments amongst colleagues, clients and media.
  • To source ideas for content (acting as an interface between Investment and Front Office teams) with a special focus on macroeconomic and asset allocation themes.
  • To use observations about investment, company and market themes, as well as knowledge of topical issues and the firm's latest thinking and investment ideas to generate insightful content for articles and thought pieces
  • To draft, edit and review content, including articles, research reports, whitepapers, presentations, webcasts, multi-medias, videos, and investment marketing material that collectively provide an engaging client experience
  • To promote content so it has as broad a reach as possible internally and externally, and establish links among different areas of the business to seek out synergies in order to maximise results and visibility.
  • To work closely with internal teams and stakeholders across the organisation to ensure core messages, investment views and strategies are consistent across markets, channels and media

Required Experience:

  • Experience working for Asset Management, Wealth Management or Investment Management company is essential
  • Outstanding investment writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver
  • Good knowledge of the investment management industry, products and services
  • Keen interest in and in-depth knowledge of financial markets, the economy, and investment topics and clear understanding of investors' needs, mindset and inclinations
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in marketing, journalism, literature or writing.
  • 5+ years' experience in developing investment content and writing about investment theories/practices
  • Highly developed editorial skills, including the ability to write/adapt content supplied by the Investment team
