Description
Senior Scientist in Liposomal Drug Formulation wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- MSc or PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field
- Profound background in pharmaceutical development of liposomes and special delivery systems
- Familiarity with biopharmaceuticals is highly desirable
- Know-how of Quality by Design (QbD) along with GLP and GMP knowledge are desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German and French are a plus
Your tasks:
- Designing experiments to optimise formulation principle and define formulation design space
- Evaluating the formulations of physical and chemical stability using HPLC, as well as the drug compatibility with liposomal formulations
- Characterising liposomal formulations using chemical techniques (HPLC) and physico-chemical techniques, such as particle size and solubilisation
- Reporting and communicating results in weekly updates (ppt format) and comprehensive reports
