Title: Communications Manager

Location: The Hague

Duration: 6 months Rolling Contract

Background

The Agile Embedding Boost (AEB) Team works within our Global Functions IT (GF IT). Our team's aim is to more deeply embed Agile into the GF IT ways of working. We have a team of 16 team members spread across India, London and The Netherlands.

Specification

We are currently looking for a Communications Specialist to assist the Change Manager with specific targeted communications for selected stakeholders. We would like someone with a minimum of 5 years work experience who can work in our offices in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Assisting with the creation and formatting of internal and external communications, eg newsletters, webcasts webinars, handouts, posters, etc.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the project SharePoint site, creating and maintaining pages and related content, updating news (daily maintenance), adding relevant information/feedback from the team, translating team requirements into new SharePoint pages, etc.
  • Formatting, editing, adding graphics and reviewing team PowerPoint presentations
  • Assist in the creation of the newsletter- gathering content, writing stories, taking/formatting photos and video, gaining necessary approvals, editing content, creating/editing graphics, populating Sharepoint newsletter pages, etc. Also includes organizing content from team members and other staff.
  • Assist with the organization, planning, content creation and delivering of Events and Initiatives
  • Assist in communication of strategies or messages to relevant stakeholders
  • Creating graphics for communications, eg infographics, posters, handouts etc.
  • Organising workshops, documenting workshop outcomes, and communicating results.

Skills required:

  • Proven experience as a Communications Specialist
  • Experience working within Oil and Gas.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. Native/fluent English speaker strongly preferred.
  • Strong editing/formatting skills especially with PowerPoint and Word.
  • Sharepoint experience.
  • Experience with newsletter creation and story writing/editing.
  • Experience with graphic design and software
  • Experience with Event organization and delivery.
  • Keen eye for detail. Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 (including Sharepoint, Outlook, PowerPoint), photo and video-editing software,graphics software
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working (ideal)
