Communication and Engagement Specialist - Chester - Negotiable - 6 Weeks

Commissioning Support Unit is pivotal in supporting our clients to deliver major improvements in health and well-being and effective communications and engagement is core to this. As a Communications and Engagement Consultant you will provide expertise on a range of projects to enable clients to engage with the public and other stakeholders on significant developments and initiatives in health and social care, as well as supporting the day to day management of media, social media and public information.
We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of experience in a broad range of communications and engagement activities, but with particular focus on working with the media. You will need to have the confidence to communicate and advise senior managers, be a strong team player and have a commitment to high standards of delivery for clients.
Core day to day duties:
- Responding to all media enquires
- Providing support this could include attending events
- Social media interaction
Key Skills:
- Social media interaction at a proficient level
- Writing media responses
- Communication and engagement experience
