Description
I am reaching out for a Civil Engineer with a wide range of water and wastewater skills to assist one of my global clients on their upcoming project, on a contract basis. The ideal candidate must also have experience with treatment works, pipeline & pumping stations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To carry out technical reviews and checking design work carried out by other team members.
- Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent professional qualification.
- To be able to carry out presentations to other Clients and colleagues.
- To have previous experience of design of water retaining structures, pumping stations and other treatment structures.
- Production and review of designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes
- Knowledge of hydraulic design, open channel flow and pressure pipe systems relating to engineering within the water sector
- To act as a mentor to other team members, potentially with line management responsibility
