Job Overview:
Graphic Designer role available for my client in Galway. This is a temporary contract for an experienced packaging graphic designer. The chosen candidate will get an opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from packaging, corporate design, brand design, POS to advertising and much more. The candidate will be joining a well-organised team that is passionate about quality and design.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project management of products, new launch and existing that come through the company and need artwork.
- Liaise with multiple departments and communicate clearly and concisely with Marketing, Product Launch and Artwork.
- Produce packaging from keylines given by Product Launch.
- Creatively produce new and amend existing materials working with Marketing on campaigns and then following brand guidelines to adapt to individual clients.
- Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy for swift amends given technical/regulatory nature of work.
- Work to timescales.
Person Specification:
- A strong portfolio of design work
- Experience working with packaging
- Proven ability to manage work from initial brief to final design
- A strong communicator - verbal and written (fluent English)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
